How it works

THE_PROJECT is a neutral connection service for Australian renters and buyers. We do not publish reviews, ratings, or public profiles.

  1. Search an address

    Type any Australian residential address. We show you how many people have registered a connection to that property - nothing else.

  2. Register your connection

    Tell us how you are connected: previous tenant, current buyer, nearby resident, body corporate member, or similar. No proof required, but false connections are a Terms of Service breach.

  3. Both sides consent

    A connection only opens when two people independently register interest in the same property and both agree to chat. One party cannot contact the other without mutual consent.

  4. Private chat opens

    You get a one-to-one private conversation. No public profile, no reviews, no ratings. The conversation stays between the two of you.
